How to hide a drive in windows?

This allows you to control which drives are visible in My Computer and Explorer.

Open Registry Editor (START > RUN > Type REGEDIT and click OK)
Navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

In the right-pane, Right-click and create a new DWORD entry "NoDrives".[case-sensitive]
Select value from the table below to hide corresponding drive.
A : 1
B : 2
C : 4
D : 8
E : 16
F : 32
G : 64
H : 128
I : 256
J : 512
K : 1024
L : 2048
M : 4096
N : 8192
O : 16384
P : 32768
Q : 65536
R : 131072
S : 262144
T : 524288
U : 1048576
V : 2097152
W : 4194304
X : 8388608
Y : 16777216
Z : 33554432
Hide All Drive: 67108863
UnHide All: 0

To hide combination of drives add values. i.e., to hide C, D (4+8) = 12

[NOTE: Drives will be hidden only in Windows Explorer, My Computer and in the Send To menu.]
To Un-Hide, delete "NoDrives" value or set value to 0.
You may need to reboot for changes to take effect.

Download "HideDrive.vbs", enter value in inputbox to hide drive. [0 to unhide]

Bing mod

Another way to hide windows drive is from computer management -> disk management. Choose the drive, right click and select "change drive letter and path". It will show the current drive letter. Just click on remove and the drive letter will be gone and the drive will disappear from your browser.
You can bring it back by assigning a drive letter again to that drive.
